This is one of the things that I absolutely hate about being a teenager.

Hormones! Ever since the 9^th grade, I've been able to completely ignore this guy - unless I had to speak to him for school. I could talk to him no problem. Yet, when I walked by him in the library (today), I got nervous. Me, nervous?! Just because I walked by a stupid boy! It makes absolutely no sense to me. I don't get crushes on people within my reach. I'm not supposed to have crushes on people I might actually have a chance with. I wanted to wait until I was at least 17. I don't turn 17 for another three months. This isn't supposed to happen. My only crushes are supposed to be on boys that are completely out-of-my-league because then I don't get embarrassed when people find out about them.

The last time I had a crush on someone that I actually knew, my so-called best friend that I had actually told ended telling my other friends that I hadn't trusted with the knowledge.

See? I have a legitimate reason to be upset about this! There's absolutely no way this is going to turn out well. Things like this NEVER do.
